Hey oppo, a little while back there was a post on how to take apart a matchbox or hot wheels car and put a car key into it.

I bought I saved the post but I guess I didn’t, so if anyone who is skilled in the ways of Oppo-fu could dig up the post for me that would be greatly appreciated

This is an example from an old oppo post I've found but I can't find the how to post

I’m pretty sure it was on a diecast kinja. Can’t find it myself.

Haha awesome man, I actually just found it myself after I kept searching.

Thanks though, I'm trying to make myself an e36 BMW key for my 325i stoker. Wanted the write up so I could see if it was possible to add a slider to it

Nice! Nothing like breaking out some Google fu. If you get the slider thing working I’d love to see it. That post got me thinking as well.

And bookmarked. This is Awesome.

Now, does anyone have a diecast Niva or Comanche I could hack up?

Yeah man I finally finished work for the summer and I’ve got some downtime before my move to Boston so I’m going to try and figure it out before then. But I’ll definitely post here once I figure out how to get past the center rivet.

Now time to raid some Walmart hot wheels bins
